Your agreement with SHOEBILL ACADEMY

These terms govern the SHOEBILL ACADEMY online HazMat theory course provided by Shoebill Business LLC Review these terms, the Refund Policy and Privacy Policy before purchasing. The price and course description shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Contact training@shoebillbiz.com with questions.

Course scope and licensing

This is online HazMat theory instruction. It does not include behind-the-wheel training, a DMV knowledge test, a TSA security threat assessment, government fees, or issuance of a CDL or H endorsement. Completing our course does not guarantee a DMV pass, TSA approval, employment or endorsement eligibility. Check your applicable licensing requirements before enrolling.

365 days of access

Access runs for 365 days from successful payment, as shown in your account. You may study and practice repeatedly during that period. Retakes carry no additional course fee during the access period. Passing does not restart or extend the access period. Access expires even if the course is unfinished; any new purchase is a separate enrollment. This purchase is not an automatically renewing subscription.

Learning, assessment and completion

Complete the required learning activities and take the final assessment yourself. The final assessment contains 30 questions; at least 24 correct answers (80%) are required to pass. Your first passing formal assessment and its time are retained as the completion record. Later review or practice does not replace that record or create a new completion. Do not share access codes, impersonate another learner, use another person to take an assessment or interfere with the service.

Identity and training reporting

Provide accurate information matching your licensing record and promptly report errors. For an eligible live ELDT enrollment, required completion certification is transmitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry by midnight of the second business day after training completion, as required by 49 CFR 380.717. A course email or saved score alone is not evidence that TPR has accepted a submission. Pages marked TEST ONLY are system tests and do not provide official training completion or TPR reporting.

Payments, access problems and refunds

Payments are processed through Stripe. Review the total before paying. If your access code does not arrive or access fails, contact us with your enrollment email and payment reference. Do not send your full card number or security code. Refund eligibility and the request process are described in the Refund Policy. We will investigate service problems and provide any remedy required by applicable law.

Course materials and fair use

Your enrollment permits personal study. Do not resell access, redistribute our original course materials commercially or remove ownership notices. These limits do not restrict lawful fair use or rights in public-domain government materials. Use a current browser and a reliable connection. Contact us if you need help accessing the material.

Changes, concerns and your rights

We may update course content for accuracy and safety. Changes to these terms will show a new effective date; material changes affecting existing enrollments will be communicated through the site or enrollment email. We will not retroactively reduce purchased access or refund rights. Contact us first so we can investigate a concern. These terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. California law applies subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live.

Information accuracy, confirmation and corrections

I confirm that these details are accurate, belong to me, and match my license. I will promptly report errors. Incorrect details may prevent record matching or delay licensing steps. This does not waive SHOEBILL ACADEMY’s legal reporting or correction obligations or my mandatory rights.

We retain the confirmation time, language, statement version and corresponding information, plus a history of corrections and administrative review. Check your details again before the official assessment. Student confirmation is not independent identity verification. Contact training@shoebillbiz.com to correct locked or reported information. We will investigate notified errors and make appropriate corrections; this does not restart the legal reporting deadline. Confirmation does not certify license validity or guarantee an endorsement. These provisions do not retroactively reduce purchased access, refund rights, or mandatory legal protections.
